International Junior League
The International Junior League (IJL) is a seasonal league competition designed to provide consistent and meaningful match experience for youth teams.
Teams play regular fixtures across the season in a structured format, allowing players to develop through repeated match situations rather than one-off events.
Key features:
・Double round-robin format
・Central, high quality 5G turf venue for all fixtures
・Multiple matches per match day
・Focus on development, organisation, and fair play
IJL is positioned as a development league rather than a results-driven competition, supporting long-term player growth.
Teams
A range of international schools, academies, and development programmes participate in IJL each season.
Venue
All matches are played at:
BST Nagasawa Sports Ground, a beautiful 5G astroturf field in Kawasaki. (Car parking available by request)
