About Hiroo Venue
International School of the Sacred Heart (ISSH), Hiroo
International School of the Sacred Heart sits in the centre of Tokyo, just minutes on foot from Hiroo station. It is easily accessible from the illustrious Roppongi Hills, Motoazabu and Hiroo areas – all of which are popular residential areas of Tokyo’s thriving expatriate community. The school has a large, enclosed astroturf playground that we use for all of our sessions here.

Getting There
International School of the Sacred Heart (ISSH)

By Train:
Take the Hibiya line to Hiroo Station and go out of Exit 4 (Nishi Azabu end). ISSH is just up the side road to your right as you come out of the exit.
By Car:
Unfortunately parking is not permitted at the school although dropping off & picking up kids is fine. Do not drive right up to the school itself though & please be courteous to the guards at the school.
Ground & Footware
The ground is a safety-approved, astroturf playground and as such all children are asked to wear flat-soled trainers (sneakers) or rubber soled ‘futsal’ shoes for their own safety. (please see our Footwear Chart).
Rain Plan
In the event of light rain, sessions will go ahead.
If there is heavy rain, snow (thick on the ground), lightning, or the ground is in poor condition due to earlier inclement weather the ground cannot be used, and the sessions will be cancelled.
Please understand that there will be no refund or make up sessions in the event of cancelled sessions due to the weather/ground condition.
We will inform* you by 1 hour before the class, (Saturday: 1 pm, Sunday: 8:20 am) if the sessions will be cancelled via our Facebook page**: https://www.facebook.com/BritishFootballAcademy.

*Posts will be made only if the session is cancelled.
*We may have to cancel sessions when the ground condition gets worse right before/during the sessions.

At ISSH
・Food and sugared drinks are not allowed on the playground. (water/sports drinks only)
・No litter to be left anywhere. Please take your rubbish with you.
・No Pets allowed.
・No one is permitted access to ANY part of the facilities that BFA don’t use, including the hill area, the bushes & trees. We may use the play structures next to the ground but please make sure that all children are supervised by parents/guardians/nannies.
・The toilets we are allowed to use are limited – Please make sure to keep them clean.
FAQ
Q：Which class does my child best fit under?
A：We first look at your child’s age; Pups (3~4 y/o), Bulldogs(5~6 y/o), Lions (7~8 y/o), Academy (9~10 y/o), Academy Stars (11~12 y/o). We will have your child take the trial session accordingly to his/her age, then see whether that class is suitable or not.
Q：What happens if it is raining on the day?
A：In cases of inclement weather, please refer to the rain protocol for each venue. Also, by liking our Facebook page, you will quickly receive updates about weather cancellations and more. We will only inform when the sessions are cancelled. If you do not receive a message or see posts about cancellation, sessions will be on.
Q：How much are trial sessions?
A：For the younger classes we offer a 2 trial sessions set: Pups 4,500 yen, Bulldogs 5,000 yen
For the older classes 1 trial session : Lions 3,000 yen, Academy/Academy Stars 4,000 yen, U14 class 5,000 yen
Q：How do I apply for a trial session?
A：Please fill out the trial request form from here and you will receive an email from us for more infomation.
Q：Can I purchase new pairs of BFA socks/shorts/shirt?
A：The uniform comes in a set (shirt, shorts and socks) therefore we are not able to sell each products individually. Also we cannot provide a different size item (e.g. we cannot provide a 120cm shorts and a 130 cm shirt as a set).
Once you have taken the size/price tags off the uniform, please understand that we cannot exchange it for a different sized one.
Q：What is BFA’s make up policy?
A：In cases where a member is absent from their session or a session is cancelled by the location due to extenuating circumstances, it is impossible for us to provide refunds or adjustment to your future fee. Also, we cannot offer make up sessions on other days/locations for sessions you are absent for personal reasons.
