  • New Class Times for Summer
    19 Jun 2025
    To reduce the risk of heatstroke & not have classes at the hottest time of day, we are introducing Summer hours for some classes in July & August.
  • SUMMER CAMPS 2025

    This year we will be having 5 Summer Soccer Camps from the end of June, through until early August. To avoid the heat they will take place in the mornings and early evenings. All children aged 5~12 years old are welcome.

The Under 14's

Fundamentally the U14 class will remain – like all BFA sessions – holistic in it’s approach, with the members’ enjoyment being of paramount importance. As the players are growing in strength and stamina, these sessions will be longer than our other classes and the number of participants will be smaller, allowing the players more space.

The U14 class is designed as a progression to the academy stars classes and aims to further develop all aspects of our members’ footballing ability (dribbling, passing, defending, shooting) within a team-training framework.

These sessions will be 90 minutes in length and will place an emphasis on skill-based training (both individual and in team contexts), physical aspects of the game (strength, speed, agility and balance), small sided games and matches.

The sessions are aimed at children 13 & 14 years of age with an interest in sport and physical activity, and are open to all abilities.
