Lionesses

Historically football has been dominated by the boys but this is all changing. Today, the world’s most popular sport can have as much influence on a young girl’s life as it can on a boy’s. In fact girls’ and womens’ football is the fastest growing sport on earth! BFA’s Lionesses class aims to cater for those girls who wish to play with & against other girls their age.

The classes are the same length as our ‘Academy’ classes; 80 minutes and are for girls aged 9 ~ 12 years old . They will include FA inspired games, activities and drills geared towards developing and improving the fundamental skills of football as well as team camaraderie.

Within the Lionesses class, all the girls will have the space to express themselves more freely and develop their game at a pace suited to them.
