Footy Japan Youth Competitions provide structured match opportunities for young players across Kanto.
Delivered in partnership with Footy Japan Competitions, these programmes are designed to complement regular training by giving players consistent, meaningful game experience in a positive and well-organised environment.
Our focus is on:
- Player development through match experience
- Fair and respectful competition
- Bringing together an international football community
- Providing opportunities appropriate to different ages and stages
Programmes range from league formats to tournaments and internal match days, allowing players to experience different types of football environments throughout the year.
Competitions Overview
We offer four types of youth competitions:
International Junior League (IJL)
A structured league competition played across a season, where teams compete in a consistent format with regular fixtures.
Youth Tournaments
Half-day events designed to provide teams with multiple matches in a short and engaging format.
iNTERLiga
Half-day event providing BFA members with additional match opportunities in a structured and enjoyable environment.
Mini Match Day
It provides additional match opportunities primarily for BFA members within a simple, match-focused environment.
