Getting There
Yokohama Country & Athletic Club (YC & AC)

By Train:
Take the JR Keihin Tohoku/Negishi Line to Yamate Station. Go out of the exit and turn left and left again under the train tracks. Climb the winding hill and turn right when you reach the top. Walk past the playground and you will come to a fork in the road. Take the left fork which takes you down behind YC&AC to the guest parking. Enrtry to YC&AC is on the right next to the tennis courts. Alternatively, if you come up the back way from the station (short cut) please go to the gate at the corner of the ground.
DO NOT ENTER YC&AC THROUGH THE MEMBERS PARKING/MAIN ENTRANCE!
By Car:
SEE MAP Please note that only club members with the correct permit may park in the upper car park. Guests may park in the lower car park near the tennis courts.
Ground & Footware
The ground is a 3rd generation all-weather field. Players are required to wear footwear with good traction, such as rubber-soled ‘turf’ football shoes. Please note that football boots with moulded or screw-in studs will not be permitted (please see our Footware Chart).
Rain Plan
If there is heavy rain, snow (thick on the ground), lightning, or the ground is in poor condition due to earlier inclement weather the ground cannot be used, and the sessions will be cancelled.
Please understand that there will be no refund or make up sessions in the event of cancelled sessions due to the weather/ground condition.

Non YC&AC members are asked to park their cars at the lower car park. (See below)
At YC&AC
・DO NOT ENTER YC&AC THROUGH THE MEMBERS PARKING/MAIN ENTRANCE!
・Food and sugared drinks are not allowed on the playground. (water/sports drinks only)
・No litter to be left anywhere. Please throw your rubbish in the bins provided.
・No Pets allowed.
・Non YC&AC members are not permitted access to ANY part of the facilities that BFA don’t use..
・Non YC&AC members are to use the guest toilets at the corner of the field.
FAQ
Q：Which class does my child best fit under?
A：We first look at your child’s age; Pups (3~4 y/o), Bulldogs(5~6 y/o), Lions (7~8 y/o), Academy (9~10 y/o), Academy Stars (11~12 y/o). We will have your child take the trial session accordingly to his/her age, then see whether that class is suitable or not.
Q：What happens if it is raining on the day?
A：In cases of inclement weather, please refer to the rain protocol for each venue. Also, by liking our Facebook page, you will quickly receive updates about weather cancellations and more. We will only inform when the sessions are cancelled. If you do not receive a message or see posts about cancellation, sessions will be on.
Q：How much are trial sessions?
A：For the younger classes we offer a 2 trial sessions set: Pups 4,500 yen, Bulldogs 5,000 yen
For the older classes 1 trial session : Lions 3,000 yen, Academy/Academy Stars 4,000 yen, U14 class 5,000 yen
Q：How do I apply for a trial session?
A：Please fill out the trial request form from here and you will receive an email from us for more infomation.
Q：Can I purchase new pairs of BFA socks/shorts/shirt?
A：The uniform comes in a set (shirt, shorts and socks) therefore we are not able to sell each products individually. Also we cannot provide a different size item (e.g. we cannot provide a 120cm shorts and a 130 cm shirt as a set).
Once you have taken the size/price tags off the uniform, please understand that we cannot exchange it for a different sized one.
Q：What is BFA’s make up policy?
A：In cases where a member is absent from their session or a session is cancelled by the location due to extenuating circumstances, it is impossible for us to provide refunds or adjustment to your future fee. Also, we cannot offer make up sessions on other days/locations for sessions you are absent for personal reasons.
